Les sites paléo-métallurgiques de Bangui is part of the Tentative list of Central African Republic in order to qualify for inclusion in the World Heritage List.
In the capital city Bangui, 26 iron age deposits have been discovered. They comprise of the remains of iron production workshops along the riverbank. Ceramics and metal objects such as axes, knifes and bracelets have been found at the site.
